Our story
About Love From George
Love From George was created in memory of George and has grown into a community of families supporting one another through baby loss.
How it began
We started Love From George in September 2022 after we lost our baby son, George, during pregnancy. We were cared for with kindness and compassion in the Bereavement Suite at the hospital and were able to spend some time with our baby before we had to say goodbye.
We were fortunate to have family close by who were able to support us by bringing comforting items and basic necessities into hospital. However, we knew that this may not be the case for everyone. From this, George’s Wellbeing Boxes were created as part of his legacy.
Since then, we have built a lovely community of families who have, heartbreakingly, all been on similar journeys. They are ready with open arms to provide emotional comfort and support. Knowing you aren’t alone on this journey makes such a big difference.
